2nd Latin American Metabolic Profiling Symposium , which will be held in Rosario, at Bolsa de Comercio de Rosario, CONVENTION CENTER,  in October 10th-12th, 2016.

This Symposium is aimed to continue the venue at Lima (Peru) being the first in Latin America that allowed local researchers to share their experiences, success stories and challenges in the metabolic profiling arena. You may find more information about the meeting at: https://lamps.yo-que.ch/

How to Arrive to Rosario Argentina

    How to travel by Air

    It is possible to access Rosario by air, arriving directly to the Rosario International Airport, also known as Malvinas Islands. This renovated Terminal is located fifteen kilometres away from the city centre, towards the Northwest.

    It is through this airport that Rosario and the country's main cities as well as Brazil's major cities are connected. Moreover, it features an alternative air-station where international flights operate.

    Charter flights also operate here, as well as all national airlines and daily flights of Lan, Copa. Should you wish to travel to the United States, South America, Oceania or Europe, you can do so stopping at Santiago.

How to travel by Land


By Bus

The companies offering bus services from Rosario are Álvarez Hermanos Andesmar; Atlántida; Autotransporte San Juan - Mar del Plata; BASA; Betel Ejecutivo; Central Argentino; Chevalier; CIP. Agencia de Pasajes; El Rápido; El Rápido del Sud; and El Rápido Internacional.

By Car

In order to access Rosario City by car from the north, Route number 11 must be followed. This route links Rosario to other localities such as San Lorenzo, Pto Gral. San Martín, Resistencia, Fray L. Beltrán, Santa Fe, Formosa and Paraguay, one of the neighbouring countries.

A further possibility is following Route number 34, which links it with Santiago del Estero, Rafaela, Tucumán and Bolivia. Nevertheless, the Rosario-Santa Fe motorway is the one that links the city to the provincial capital.

It is also possible to access Rosario from the East area crossing the Rosario - Victoria Bridge. Such bridge is considered to be one of the most important passages between Sao Paulo City in Brazil and Valparaíso in Chile.

If travelling from the south area, there are three possibilities. Firstly, the Rosario - Buenos Aires motorway can be followed. Moreover, it is possible to follow route number 178 that links Rosario with Junin, Pergamino and Rojas. Finally, through the old route 9, which links the city to Villa Constitución, Pueblo Esther, Baradero and Zárate among other places.

Travelling from the west area of the country it is possible to access Rosario after following route 9, which links Rosario city with Córdoba, Villa María, Salta, Tucumán, Jujuy and Bolivia. In addition, it is possible to travel along route number 33 which links it with San Luis, Mendoza and Chile.
